The inspection service

What is a Second Opinion Service pre-purchase inspection?
A pre-purchase inspection is a professional service that evaluates a vehicle’s quality before a purchase offer is made.
The evaluator, master mechanic Norris Schleeter, examines the vehicle in person for the quality of its mechanical, electrical, body, safety, and maintenance systems. A report documented with photographs and data is provided to the client.
What we inspect
First, we start with a basic maintenance inspection of fluid condition, drive belts, cooling system. We don’t just look at the engine oil, we really TEST the oil. This is something no other service provides at this price.
Then we exhaustively check the following:
- chassis,
- paint,
- suspension,
- brakes,
- interior,
- electrical,
- safety systems,
- tires,
- cabin controls,
- and much more.
The pre-purchase inspection report
You receive a detailed written pre-purchase inspection report.
Your report includes details on each item we inspected plus oil test results, relevant make/model history, and any other findings.
We also take extensive photographs of the inspected areas and include those as well.

Ouch, this bumper had deep scratches! This was minor cosmetic issue that did not disqualify the car but allowed the buyer to negotiate a better price! |
